Zalm is a village in the Aserai Sultanate ruled by the emir Iyalas of the Banu Arbas. The village is bound to Askar and is known to produce Grain.
Zalm sits at the Scorched Gates, where the Damar river descends from the Nahasa desert and starts its journey through the Jarjara Escarpment. The silt brought by the river produces bountiful crops of wheat.
