Tar is a good introduced in Viking Conquest that is used for trade and building larger boats.
Almost all towns and villages have scarce amounts of the commodity, the only exception being in the Kingdom of Northvegr, where you can find it cheap and in abundance in Tunsberg as well as in most of the kingdom's villages. From there, you can buy it at prices as low as 140 peningas and sell it anywhere else for prices as high as 440.
