Shouldn't this be title "Emperor" rather than "King"? 194.35.207.100 17:35, September 7, 2017 (UTC)

Not really, an emperor generally rules over multiple kingdoms, but conquering Calradia unites all of the factions into a single kingdom and all the rival monarchs are exiled rather than permitted to continue ruling in a subservient role.

That's not true. As Merriam-Webster (and other dictionaries) defines it, an empire is "a major political unit having a territory of great extent or a number of territories or peoples under a single sovereign authority". An emperor does not need to rule over multiple kingdoms, just over multiple people. Therefore, yes, the title should be Emperor, not King, as conquering Calradia puts you as sovereign over multiple cultures. Anselmo499 (talk) 12:26, January 6, 2018 (UTC)
The dictionary definition isn't really relevant. How the title has been used in reality is. As I stated above, "an emperor generally rules over multiple kingdoms." The generally part is important because many rulers adopted the title, even when they were only a single kingdom with a relatively homogenous culture. Since that does make the title somewhat vague, you absolutely can make the argument that this should be emperor. You can even back it up by using the Empress achievement or the existence of the former Calradic Empire. On the other hand, the Empress achievement's description says "queen of all Calradia" and isn't a part of the canonical story. As for the Empire, it is long dissolved by the time of Warband and no one ever says you are trying to rebuild it. What this all boils down to is that the "proper" title could be Emperor just as easily as it could be King, and since it was named King first, it gets to stay King.
