Soapstone is a good introduced in Viking Conquest that is almost exclusively used for trade. It is, however, quite scarce in most towns and villages except for the Kingdom of Northvegr and Bebbanburh, where it's cheaper and a bit more common to find. Villages that sell soapstone usually price it cheaper than towns do.
Ladies may occasionally request you to bring them a few pieces of soapstone, the commodity's only use apart from trade.
