Silver is a good exclusive to Viking Conquest that is almost exclusively used for trade. Its weight is very low, something that makes its presence in your inventory negligible on your party speed. It is a scarce item all across the Northlands, and as such, there is little profit to be had since most towns that sell it will only sell 1-2 items at a time.
Nobles, although very rarely, will gift you silver along with a certain amount of peningas in an effort to maintain good relations with you.
Silver may be mistaken for iron or stone, due to their identical icons. If all three are sold in a town simultaneously, it's easy to distinguish them at a glance by their position on the market's menu due to their varying prices.
If your troop morale is low, silver might be taken from your inventory.
