Payam is a village of the Khuzait owned by Ilatar Beg of the Baltait. The village is bound to Kaysar Castle and known to produce Wheat.

Payam lies alongside the Karakaz river in the cold north of the Khuzait lands. Though the land is snowbound much of the year, the villagers sow wheat and barley as soon as the melt starts, taking in a good crop before the autumn.
