Nordland, originally known as Nordvyg during the age of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, is a land located to the far north of Calradia, beyond the North Sea. It is the vast peninsula West of the Jumne river, comprised of mostly icy lands and is the home of the Nords and Sea Raiders. Divided for long between half-dozen petty kings, before the age of Bannerlord the land was united by Volbjorn the Hungry and became the core of the Northern Kingdom domains.
The Nords then came to Sturgia to trade in large numbers, where they made alliances and intermarried with the local tribal leaders.
Originally the name conflicted with the one of Jumne, as they both seemed to identify the same place: after the release of the War Sails DLC for Bannerlord the distinction between the two places became clear, as the Nordland is the land West of the Jumne, that represents the Eastern border of the Nords domains.
