The Netyag is the Cossack Hetmanate's light infantryman.
Tactics[]
Wielding a saber and pistol, the average Netyag is a formidable and agile fighter, being able to quickly close the distance and pepper the enemy with short-ranged pistol fire. This makes them adequate against marksmen and other light infantry, such as the Crimean Azaps and Kapikulu. Even Pikemen will find the Netyag infantry to be formidable. However, as they wear light armor, they are not as capable against heavy infantry, such as Swedish Swordsmen. They are also very weak against cavalry, especially heavy cavalry, such as the Polish Winged Hussars.
