Construction of a Ladder (9 hours with 0 Engineer skill) is required prior to besieging Narra.
When founding a new kingdom, it is highly recommended to capture Narra as early as possible for a few reasons:
- Narra's wall setup makes it easy to avoid enemy arrows and position skirmishers to fire upward at defenders.
- Khergit troops tend to be easier to besiege and to defend from than the other factions.
- Narra's position in the overland map makes it a major hub for caravans, making it one of the richest towns - even during wartime.
- A lord controlling Narra can collect a large amount of denars from tariffs and rents - sometimes exceeding
10,000.
