Mercenary Light Cavalrymen can be hired in Taverns or saved from captivity.
Tactics[]
They use a rapier and pistol. In fact, in the middle of the 17th century, most of the light cavalry over all Europe looked like this. Their tactics are typical of the reiters of the time: quick advance to enemy line, volley from pistols and charge to close combat. When these troops do not use any armor, it is best to avoid keeping them in long hand to hand combat - after some time, they should be withdrawn, gathered back together, reload their pistols and be ready for the next attack.
