Mazopor Bay is a long fjord slicing through the northern highlands of Calradia, separating the dark forests of the Ircara Wildlands to the south, from the Sturgian heartlands to the north and west. The bay is formed by waters following out of Lake Laconis into the Byalic Sea. A cataract near Ov Castle allows passage from one side of the bay to the other.
Along the northern cliffs of the fjord are iron deposits exploited by the villagers of Marabrot.[1] Herring and cod are plentiful in the bay and salmon are often seen swimming up the bay to spawn in Lake Laconis.[2]
