Looters are the first-tier infantry for Bandits.
Equipment[]
Equipment Looters can spawn with in battle. Being Bandits, almost all of their armor is torn, tattered, worn, battered, or frayed, and nearly all of their weapons are rusty, splintered, and bent. This means their equipment is in poor condition, and thus has somewhat lower than average stats.

Notes[]
- Looters are the most common form of bandit in Mount & Blade: Bannerlord. They are the lowliest and weakest of the brigandry, and can be found all over Calradia.
- They are generally cowardly, rarely actually attacking anything on the world map and breaking easilly in battle. However, if they have significantly superior numbers (such as when multiple bands join for the same battle) they may attack travelling villagers.
- Looters are not technically in the "Bandit Tree." Rather, they are the weakest of the Bandits. They don't actually upgrade to any variety of bandit, but will join and be joined by other types bandits in battle.
- Since Looters upgrade to Imperial Infatrymen it can be surmised that they are former Imperial citizens who have been displaced by the fracturing of the Calradic Empire and the ensuing constant wars. Essentially, Looters could be desperate Imperial refugees who have turned to brigandry.
Tactics[]
- Looters make excellent practice for new recruits. Charging a group of looters with a comparable size group of new recruits can earn rapid promotions with minimal casualties.
- Despite their incedibly poor equipment, care must be taken when sending cavalry (especially light-cavalry) into a large group of looters. Looters armed with Pitchforks can cause a horse to rear, halting it in place and allowing the numerous Looters to swarm over the soldier like ants on a rat.
- Since they lack shields or even half-decent armor, Looters are embarassingly vulnerable to ranged weaponry. Most die after only a couple arrows, bolts, and thrown weapons.
