Cornubia is one of the easiest factions for the player to defeat and capture settlements from, as it is weak to begin with, and usually further weakened by wars with the Kingdom of West Seaxe.
Nobles[]
Britonnic nobles generally follow the naming convention of Ri (King), Guledic (Prince), Tiern (Lord), Mael (Chief).
Note that the vassals listed below are only the ones present at the start of the game. Later on, other vassals may join or leave, and they may gain or lose fiefs. This is particularly common when, after an entire faction is conquered, all its vassals randomly defect to the remaining factions.
The capital of Cornubia is the town of Bosvenegh. Note that, over the course of the game, other factions may besiege these fortifications and take over these fiefs, and Cornubia may gain more territory through conquest. These settlements, however, are some of the only places Britonnic troops can be recruited from.
The faction is based on the historical Kingdom of Cornwall. In Viking Conquest's 867 setting, however, it is located only in modern-day Cornwall, England.
While listed as a Christian faction and all its settlements are Christianity-adherent in-game, the historical Kingdom of Cornubia/Cornwall was the last area of modern-day England to remain Pagan; in 867, it would have likely still been Pagan in some areas farther away from large population centers.
