Jarl Halfdan Ragnarsson is the monarch of the Kingdom of Northhymbre. He starts the game as the lord of Eidynburh.
The character is based on the historical Halfdan Ragnarsson, who, according to Norse sagas, was one of the sons of Ragnar Lodbrok. While Ragnar was legendary, the historicity of Halfdan is generally agreed upon.
