Jarids are exceptionally dangerous throwing weapons that can quickly deal large amounts of piercing damage, even through heavy armor.
When compared to the Light Crossbow, Jarids do one more point of damage, discounting extra damage from bolts, have no reload time, and they benefit from Power Throw. However, the Jarids' low quantity should be considered when choosing between them or a crossbow.
