Ira is a heir-apparent of the Southern Empire and a member of clan Pethros. She is the daughter of Empress Rhagaea and the late Emperor Arenicos. She is one of the few noblewomen that have high level weapon and tactics skills at the beginning of the game.

Description[]

Ira is the daughter of Rhagaea, one of the three claimants to the imperial throne, and the slain emperor Arenicos. At one point, her father appeared to be grooming her as his heir. But though she took well to imperial campaigns, she also displayed a wild side unbecoming of imperial dignity, carousing in taverns with other young aristocrats and even appearing in the arenas as a gladiator. She is Rhagaea's heir apparent, but her mother makes no secret of wishing to find her a responsible consort to ensure the continuation of the dynasty.

According to her Personality Traits, she is Closefisted (Generosity -1), Daring (Valor 1), Cruel (Mercy -1) and Impulsive (Calculating -1). She has the reputation of being brave, but easily enraged and unforgiving.

As with all noblemen and women, her Armor, Weapons, Perks, Friends, Enemies, and Attribute Points are all randomized at the beginning of the game.

Trivia[]

IraSkills

Ira's various looks through the update patches. Her final appearance is still to be decided.

  • Ira as one of the possible candidates for marriage. The Mount&Blade fan community considers her one of the best marriage options due to the fact that, if the inheritance system is ever fully implemented, that means Ira is next in line after Rhagaea. Thus, a male player character can benefit a lot from marrying her, as he could become a very likely candidate for Emperor of the Southern Empire.
  • Ira has gone through some changes in her design, from an initial tomboyish pro-active warrior-princess style to a more round-faced make-up-heavy one, then back to a more tomboy-style face.
