Does this wiki need an article for every village? There is very little to be said for each village, it was hard enough coming up with content for castles. Currently there are four village articles: Ayn Assuadi, Chelez, Ibdeles and Tilimsal.
We can either make an article for every village, or delete these. Every opinion counts, so voice your vote and/or discuss. ◄► Tephra ◄► 19:56, November 29, 2011 (UTC)
The ordered list of towns a village can supply is strategic information for me. It influences where I attack first and the Productive Enterprises I build in towns.
Also, is the list of things a village mostly produces fixed? And if not, is it randomized at the start?

- I don't know if it is random or not, though I don't think it is. ◄► Tephra ◄► 03:59, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
Tried it a few times and it's a bit different with each new game. Maybe some of them are fixed since so far Dhirim and Curaw have always been good places to make tools?
I propose this amount for basic information (this village always supplies Veluca):

- Do you think a page for that small amount of information is necessary? Chaeza can just be a redirect to Veluca. ◄► Tephra ◄► 14:50, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Then how about castle villages? They supply the nearest town of the same faction, not the castle. And... if we're adding redirects for all the villages then might as well have individual pages for them. =~~ Flaviojs 15:28, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
I kind of wish more people responded to this forum so there was more input on the matter... I just don't know that there is sufficient information for every village to justify an article. ◄► Tephra ◄► 18:47, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
- I struggled with the issue of creating pages with little information or grouping it for GhostX.
- I tried a couple of strategies over the months and concluded that it's best and more wiki'ish to only group them in categories, have lots of individual pages with succinct information and links in related pages (direct link or link to a category grouping the individual page, whichever is more appropriate).
- This also made me favor templates that generate the whole page; Almost no maintenance is needed (biggest factor since I was basically the only contributor at the time)... I only need to change the template to change all it's pages: change the layout/style or add support for new information or add new categories (handled automatically by the template).
- But what seemed appropriate there might not be appropriate here, so consider this my "two cents" on the issue. ^^
