Anyone else think that the Sarrinid Sultanate are slightly OP as they field the best cavalry and the best archers, and there infantry even though they aren't the best can hold there own in even combat. Superman7943 (talk) 12:32, December 2, 2013 (UTC) Superman7943
- No, not really. I think you are giving them more credit than due. The Mamlukes are nearly identical to Swadian Knights, so they must share the title of "best" cavalry. Their archers taking the top spot is debatable, they have exceptional armor for archers, but that doesn't necessarily make them better than their rivals. I think you are farthest off in your description of their infantry, which are only slightly better than useless. However this is only mentioning their highest tier troops, the lower-tiered Sarranid troops are nothing special whereas some the other factions' low-tier troops are still effective combatants, such as the Swadian Men-at-Arms who can still deal out significant punishment before they've been fully promoted yet, making the Swadian Knight line far superior to the Mamlukes in my opinion.

- Yea in fact i agree with Tephra. Swadian Knights still better than Mamlukes and Marksmen are better the the sarranid top tier archers and their infantry in fact are the worst infantry since they have the weakest armor but they still can use thrown weapons, but well i must say that they are somehow good at battles in the open against most factions like rhodoks,khergit and nords but they may have balanced fights in the open with swadians and vaegirs.so in conclusion i think that in M&B warband all the factions are balanced cuz they have their advantages and disadvantages and it is about how u use them effectively, for an examble it is like a sucide to attack a rhodok castle with with the same number and quality of soldiers of the sarranid ..... etc.Ansary (talk) 00:13, February 17, 2014 (UTC)
