How do you think we should distinguish between items with identical names but different stats? Or, perhaps even more tricky, identical names, identical stats, but different graphics?
Identical names + different stats examples include steppe caps, hafted blades, sabres, swords, Nordic swords, one handed battle axes, and possibly others.
The approach I took with steppe caps was to have their armor bonus before their name, e.g., +14 steppe cap, +15 steppe cap, and +16 steppe cap. With weapons, I used "type 1" and "type 2," but this is ambiguous, and I'm thinking of specifying by how much damage they do on a swing. (The cheaper hafted blade would thus be "Hafted blade (Swing: 37c)" and the more expensive one would be "Hafted blade (Swing: 39c)."
I don't know.

- If the only difference is the graphic, I don't think it is necessary to distinguish which one it is. On those with different stats, dividing them by their unique stat is probably best.
