Right now I'm on the offensive but have few lords so the type of siege awaiting me is valuable information to consider.
I wanted to add categories to list what uses ladders and what uses siege towers but looking at the castle/town pages and categories I don't see a consistent structure...
I guess my question is: how to clean them up?
As a first thought, maybe group map entities together?
I also don't see any difference at first glance between castles and fortresses in With Fire & Sword. I could even stretch it and say towns are fortifications with more resources. So... what's the difference between them in WFAS?

- Required siege equipment could perhaps be listed on the Sieges or Engineer pages. I'm not sure what you mean by "group map entities together". Regarding Fortresses... I seriously have no clue, if you ever figure out the difference, you let me know.

Since it's lists we're talking about, I would prefer to use categories.
Static map entities are towns, castles, villages, training fields, mercenary camps (WFAS). Dynamic map entities are the player, lords, bandits, villagers, patrols/rebels/scouts/other (WFAS).
Hmm, maybe group fortifications together then... something like this?
- Gameplay
- Fortifications
- Castles
- Towns
- Fortifications By Siege Type
- Ladder Fortifications
- Siege Tower Fortifications
- Fortifications

- Actually I didn't like the idea of making new categories just for the siege type, but that doesn't look too bad. Though I don't think a Fortifications By Siege Type category is necessary just to hold two other categories. I'd do it more like this:
- Gameplay
- Fortifications
- Castles
- Towns
- Ladder Fortifications
- Siege Tower Fortifications
- Fortifications
- Gameplay

- It looks a bit out of place because we're not differentiating more aspects of fortifications.
- Castles/Towns/Fortresses are basically
Fortification By Type
. We can also group them by game and by number of villages. Hmm, the existence of a port can also be a factor? (never used one) - Anyway, I'll use your category structure.
