Dried Meat is a food item that provides a moderate morale bonus. While it doesn't provide as much morale as beef, dried meat never spoils.
If the player chooses "poacher" as their background, they will have two pieces of dried meat in their starting inventory. These can either be kept to feed your army, or sold for an initial money boost.
In With Fire & Sword, the player starts with 2 pieces of dried meat and 2 pieces of bread.
