Dark Hunters were a former type of enemy that could be encountered in early Mount&Blade. They were frequently encountered with the infamous Dark Knights, and could upgrade to them. They rode some of the best horses in the game and wore Leather Jerkins, making them slightly easier to kill than their more heavily-armoured companions. They had a penchant for large axes.
