The Chertyg Mountains or "Chernyg Mountains" are the mountain range which form the spine of Calradia's northlands. To the north is the Byalic Sea and to the south is Lake Laconis. The easternmost peak of the mountain range is known as Mount Iltan, taking its name from a god of the eastern steppes.
