Unlike in Warband, they are quite common but do not ride horses. Lightly armored and poorly armed, they do however carry broadswords and possibly firearms, making them dangerous in large numbers. They spawn in groups of 3-60.

Brigands could, in a sense, be considered the With Fire & Sword equivalent of Sea Raiders, seeing as they typically roam northern Eastern Europe and speak in Sea Raider voice files.
