The Banu Qild are a clan of the Aserai led by Emir Tais.

They have a feud with the Banu Sarran going back to the Battle of Pendraic, when the Sarranid Nimr returned to Aserai lands and sought to elope with a Qildi woman. According to the imperial scribe Asaios, they have a reputation of being "notoriously ill-humored".
