The Banu Qaraz are a clan of the Aserai led by Emir Suruq.

The clan originated from the Carasios, an imperial clan who oversaw the autonomous territory surrounding modern-day Iyakis. Since severing ties with the Empire, the clan has intermarried with the tribes of the Nahasa and have integrated as fellow descendants of patriarch Asera.
