The Angle Noble (Thegn) is a fifth-tier unit of the Angle troop tree in Viking Conquest.

As prisoners[]

They can be ransomed by lords for a better deal than the usual if player uses the option when meeting a lord.

Acquisition[]

Except for the usual ways of upgrade or liberating/recruiting prisoners, if one conquers an Angle town and does not immediately decide on ownership if king, they can notice them as automatic garrison in small numbers (usually 2).

Stats and Equipment[]

Note: Troops have a set of default stats; at the beginning of a new game, these stats are randomly adjusted for each type of troop. The following is the default set for this troop as seen within the game code and may not reflect the specific stats you will see during actual gameplay. For more information, see Troop stats.
